A very brief history of RPM

RPM Puppet Conspiracy began in Chicago in 1999, when David Bailey was working with various puppeteers and building puppets for the then very active Art & Revolution.  Shortly thereafter, RPM became a roving, touring, rabble rousing puppet company when Dave joined with Jason Hicks, then from Boone, NC.  The two toured heavily from 2000 on performing original feature length puppet shows on topics such as the Free Trade Area of the Americas, composting human feces, Dominion Theology, and how to rid oneself of Oppressors and prepare them for a feast, among others.  Over the years RPM has worked for and with such prestigious organizations as Spiral Q in Philadelphia, Bread&Puppet Theater in Vermont, Bare Bones Theater in Minneapolis, to name just a few. Currently, RPM is in their Very Small Hadron Collider testing  their own newfangled  and highfalutin theories, working on a crackpot Science Fiction puppet show for tour in Spring of 2011, and is comprised of David Bailey and Angela DiVeglia
